Ha, it seems that a lot of holidays are simply popping up everywhere! Though I do call this Birthday season as most of my commune friends share a birthday soon after each others! Up next to get one step closer to 30 is Cristina. She turns 29 and as fate would have it, she is in town, on a new job. Hoping I get to see her as I have not seen her since August when I had my 'blow me away...into the windy city' farewell gathering in Austin. Not keeping my hopes up as I know she is very busy and is on her first travel assignment here in the windy city. But yes, Happy St. Patricks day. I'm not officially wearing green aside from the two beaded necklace I was given while I got off the "L" stop at the train this morning, and my claim to fame since grade school...'you can't pinch me, I am wearing green....MY EYES!!' My sister commented on my facebook today (www.facebook.com heknuno1981@gmail.com) and said my nieces were also claiming the 'I got green eyes so donut pinch me card'. LoL I do have some nieces and one nephew with colored eyes. It's funny cause us with colored eyes are referred to 'LOS GUEROS' lol....and then there is the rest....just saying! But yes, tis St. Patricks, actually one of my favorite holidays since I child. Not sure though if now at 30 I want to go out and get 'trirish' a combo of trash and Irish! lol After all I already went out on saturday...so why go out again! geesh...30 is so tiring! honestly!
The weather is simply gorgeous these past few days....55! ha! still low for a Texas standard but breezy, beautiful and crisp here in Chicago. Perhaps I feel it more since I live a block away from Lake Michican! We will see! I have hEkDUCATION today and get off early so might want to peek a boo the district and just get ONE green beer...after all I did break my lent rule already! I still have not had COKE, sorry I mean POP!! lol I'm leaving the Museum relatively soon, just been working on my videos that were recorded of me and will be discussing at tomorrows workshop training. But since the weather is nice out, I need to begin running again. Plus the video did add ten pounds! ughh, quelle surprise!! really!
