Yes my lovelies, I am alive, recovering since St. Pats is quite an ordeal for a thirty year old! lol Just been busy. Got very busy at work teaching the lil ones and then going home and trying to catch up on TV, then tutoring, then blah blah! you get the idea.
Since last chat we had, Crissy did indeed make her appearance. She met me out and we went to peekaboo downtown and met up with my brother who was leaving work at the time, then we RAN to our bus and made it to eh Navy Pier, where I work, but did a quick stroll and ended up going to Bubbas Gump...the restaurant inspired from Forrest Gump. Lol. It was delish and interesting how the service works! We toasted Crissy into her 29 and her descent from tweenage years! ha! Perhaps we are meeting up tonight for a gulls night out before she heads on back out to Texas.
I have been watching a lot of the OWN channel, and it is letting me have it! I love Oprah! I did get an email stating that I am on the wait list for next round of taping in April, I hope I do get to go!
I am very excited that in this past month I have finished two books and am on my third one. Today I will also pick up my fourth book that I have on queue to read, the Autobiography of Ricky Martin. I hear it really is good! Can't wait to report back on it! Also my Hekature Spring Collection is about to kick off this week. I have been commissioned by the lovely and talented legs of halsted, DIDA RITZ for a very special top secret assignment! I will be couturing her all her accessories for a show on LOGO!! Including Tshirts with my name on it, so she can brand me out! Dida is fierce and gives you plenty of fish! ha! in her own words! but follow her on twitter @hellodida tell her I told you so! But yes, beads, gitter, wires, petals, etc...all is coming back to ChiTown. My first collection since Hekrochet!! This will have to be special branding made just for her...Hekadrag??? we will see! still toying with the name! But lots of Hello Kittys will be butchered in this process as she loves Hello Kitty!
