Happy Bday!

No secret, today is my 30th birthday!  So technically I am 30 years and 9 months....since mitosis! lol
Whew!!  really 30?  That seems old, right?  I guess Ill embrace it and move on to either being flirty or dirty at 30!! ha!

So here I am, and have decided that I will do my best to document my first year as a 30 year old!  I have another blogspot that on occasion I will dab into, www.frenchector.blogspot.com but I will update this frenchicago1981 more closely! 

So I decided that I did have a great run at 20.  I was young and finishing up my higher education at the University of Texas at Austin. In fact around this age I met my most amazing friends that are now my betest of friends.  Others soon followed but I realized that we had such a blast, having the time of my life!  At the time I lived in Austin, Texas, and well its a college town, and to be 20....well its the perfect location to be at!

Obviously much fun, parties, socializing was had by all.  In my 20s I learned to grow up and make decisions all on my own.  I had left the nest of Del Rio, or as I call it, DULL RIO!  My parents were at least 4 hours driving time away!  I had also recently returned from studying abroad in Lyon France as a scholar and was an amazing journey....one I will always carry in my heart!  Even there I had to be on my own.  The tech world of social media was barely taking root.  I did indeed have my facebook.com account!  But now everything is techy!   Needless to say, I have decided to take every opportunity that comes my way and share it with the tech world! 

This will be about my up and coming 30s!  Im in a new city! Chicago, Illinois.  Im back to where everything began.  I feel that I should run with it and start documenting it all!  Im sure pictures, and videos will soon follow.  At this point all I have of my 20s are countless of journals friends have all given me.  I have several because each one is a particular theme...whether it be travels, life, work, or even crushes....yes an infamous book that details somewhat love stories!  ALL ARE SEALED and when I do die, perhaps will be published!  lol

So here I am as I said before.....Today I start anew.  Just got a haircut and its MARDI GRAS! I was always of holiday bdays of friends because that is so radical to have! But alas, for today I can celebrate MARDI GRAS and my 30th!  Perhaps Ill be a 'whooooo' boy tonight! just one more night of 'whooooo' at every comment I hear!!  WHOOOOOO!!

My name is hector....I go by Nuno to my family....Heknuno1981 by email....Mr. H in the classroom.....hey you by rude students......friend to others.....Best friend to some....uncle to my wonderful nieces and nephews....brother to my siblings.....son to my parents....cousin to my cousins.....and Im ready to be ME!

Love me, hate me, say what you want about me. Im past the point of games and a world of ignorant uneducated fools...LET GO!  I am!! I will strive to be a better person at 30.  Let bye gones be bye gones!
